Competition Robot

Over 8 weeks, I built an autonomous competition robot with my team as a part of ME 2110, a course all Georgia Tech Mechanical Engineering students take that focuses on design, manufacturing, mechatronics, tolerancing, materials, and group-based engineering. This season was themed after Barbie/Oppenheimer, and we named ourselves team Kentropy!

  • Sprint 1: First Place Robot (Section A5)

  • Sprint 2: First Place Robot (All Sections, ~200 students, 52 teams)

  • Overall highest scoring robot across all robots in the semester

Skills & Techniques:

  • Mechatronics and electromechanical systems/actuators

  • Fabrication (3D Printing, Waterjet, Laser cutter, Wood room)

  • Subsystem design and modeling with SolidWorks

  • Materials selection

  • Engineering optimization and tolerancing

  • Teamwork and collaborative engineering
