• I enjoyed acting as a project member on Georgia Tech’s Lightning at the Edge of Space Vertically Integrated Project (VIP), furthering development into engineering high-altitude balloon payloads, as advised under Dr. Morris Cohen, a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech.

  • On launch day, I helped launch the high-altitude balloon into the stratosphere to collect atmospheric data on lightning at the edge of space.

  • Investigated materials selections for lightweight, low-power platforms.

  • Researched parachute reefing techniques for payload recovery.

Skills & Techniques:

  • Engineering materials selection

  • Research and engineering group collaboration
